As Britain’s largest producer of low-carbon electricity, EDF Energy is proud to support Team Green Britain Bike Week and promote cycling as an everyday healthy and practical lifestyle choice that can help the planet too.

Team Green Britain, founded by EDF Energy, aims to help Britons reduce their carbon footprint by 2012 and includes advice on how to make everyday journeys as sustainable as possible. With over 700,000 existing members, Team Green Britain can help make Bike Week stronger than ever through more events and more people taking part.

Already its support has made a difference, enabling the funding of 12 regional workshops for new and existing event organisers, as well as new event organiser guides.  Plus, in a new feature for 2010, Team Green Britain event sustainability consultant, Toby Radcliffe, will provide expert advice on how to minimise the environmental impact of your Bike Week event. Working together with you, Team Green Britain wants to make Team Green Britain Bike Week 2010 the best yet.
